There is nothing to set. Dokulo rebuilds the file structure into a new file and says what it fixed, like “Rebuilt the page table”.

From broken to readable

1Choose the file. From Home, Tools, Files, or “Repair with Dokulo” in another app’s share sheet.
2Nothing to set. A note says Dokulo rebuilds the file structure and your original stays unchanged.
3Run. Short jobs just finish. A long one shows its progress; “Keep working” lets you leave, and a notification says when it is done.
4Check the result. “Repaired” and what was fixed. Open it right away.

Questions

Is my file uploaded?

No. Repair PDF runs on your phone, in airplane mode too. Dokulo has no server for files.

Can every file be repaired?

Not every one. When a file is too damaged, Dokulo says so instead of saving a broken copy.

Is the original changed?

No. The repaired file is a new file; the original stays as it was.

Is there a limit on file size or pages?

No size, page or daily limits, and no watermark.
