From a scan to searchable text
- 1Choose the file. From Home, Tools, Files, or “Make text searchable with Dokulo” in another app’s share sheet.
- 2Pick the language. Auto finds it for you. Choose the pages, and whether to keep text already there.
- 3Run. Short jobs just finish. A long one shows its progress; “Keep working” lets you leave, and a notification says when it is done.
- 4Check the result. “Text found on 12 of 12 pages” and the languages read. Tap a page to check the text.

Questions
Is my file uploaded?
No. Make text searchable runs on your phone, in airplane mode too. Dokulo has no server for files.
Which languages does it read?
German and English come with the app. More languages are optional downloads, marked “Download”.
Does the page look different afterwards?
No. The text layer is invisible; the page looks exactly as before.
Do I need Pro?
You can run it once on a real file and keep the result. After that, Pro unlocks it for good: €9.99, one-time, no subscription.
